Special Inspection is required for epoxy/adhesive anchor installations. A new Certificate of Occupancy with the new occupant load total is to be issued when completed and approved. Gayle Jensen has requested that the energy code envelope be re-routed around the equipment room (shown as a closet on plan) so the room will be insulated to R-11 minimum. Based on the statement from Gayle, that the existing building has 10% or less of window and glazed door area, Table 802.2(28) has a prescriptive path allowing ANY U-factor for the doors at this room. Nonglazed doors are to meet the requirements for windows and glazed doors per IECC Section 802.2.2.
