1. Provide the information required by the IBC Plan Examiner, specifically all items which also relate to the IFC.

2. The Architect of Record for the construction phase of this project shall provide documentation of the hydrant water flow available at this site. Hydrant flow shall meet the requirements of IFC B105.1.
The required fire flow for the proposed, V-A, 68,050-ft/2, with 75% reduction for sprinklered structure, is: 1500 gpm.
Submit a letter from United Water that is dated within the past 12 months, indicating this flow is available using the hydrants shown on plans. Water flow information is available from United Water, Doug Shaefer at ###-####.

3. The Architect of Record for the construction phase of this project the architect shall submit written documentation from United Water Company, of the water pressure and flow available for automatic fire sprinkler system design. This information is different than hydrant flow, because it indicates the static pressure, and residual pressure and flow of the water supply available at the proposed system water supply connection. Sprinkler water flow information is available from United Water, by contacting Doug Shaefer at ###-####. This information is for uniformity and consistency in the fire sprinkler system design. A copy of this information shall be included with the Fire Sprinkler Permit application documentation.

4. Per IBC review by Mike Phillips, "Response required from Design Professional," paragraph #63, the following information will need addressed.
A. Where hazardous Materials are to be stored or used, the Building permit application shall include a Hazardous Materials Inventory Statement and Management Plan. The Report shall be prepared by a qualified person, approved by the PDS Building Department. NOTE: MSDS's are necessary but are not a substitute for the above classification. The Haz-Mat Report cannot be prepared by PDS personnel.
NOTE: This would apply to the pool chemicals. Provide a Hazardous Material Inventory statement, include details of storage and use arrangements as necessary to verify Code compliance with IFC Chapter 27 for storage and use.
The information provided in the Haz-Mat report shall be adequate to verify Code compliance with IFC requirements. Materials shall be classified and quantified according to hazard categories, as indicated in IFC 2701.2.2. Quantities within allowable limits shall comply with 2701 and 2703. Quantities in excess of allowable limits shall comply with 2704 and 2705. In addition, the specific material requirements in Chapters 28 through 44 also apply. (Refer to Permit Application instructions and IFC Chapter 27). Names of Haz-Mat persons approved by the PDS Dept are available upon request.
