Architect has provided an addendum concerning the existing restroom. Apparently it was not accessible as first thought, so architect has provided a breakdown of 20% the cost of the valuation to be applied into increased accessibility at the restroom. New lavatory/faucet, grab bars/blocking, and new 3' door with accessible hardware will be provided. The minimum clearances within the room still do not meet minimum accessibility standards and will need to be addressed under any future remodel permits.

Remove thumbturn on the main entry/exit. Keyed hardware (lock) on both sides is OK. Provide sticker at main exit. Remove thumbturn from rear exit. Repair or replace inoperative exit sign and emergency lights. Mount and tag fire extinguisher. Provide approved door hardware for all doors. Lever type is ok. Lift sagging insulation at sprinkler uprights and remove or relocate the extra sprinkler pendant that is spaced less than 6' from another pendant.. Work will require permits.
