Facility requires fire protection. A hydrant within allowable distances is located in McKessinger Lane. Provide required hydrant flows. The Architect of Record for the construction phase of this project shall provide as part of the Building Permit required documents the hydrant water supply flow available for the type of construction, (reference IFC B105.1). Water flow information is available by contacting United Water at: ###-####, and obtaining water supply information in certificate form. The required fire flow for this 8,420-ft/2 type V-B facility will be: 2,500 gpm. The fire flow will determine the number of hydrants required (reference IFC Table C105.1). A minimum 3 hydrants within (modified to 300' for commercial properties per BMC 7-01-45) distance are required. Provide required hydrant flows and location of 2 other hydrant meeting requirements, or obtain written approval from Dave Miller (Fire Marshal) at: ###-#### otherwise. (IFC 105.4, C105.1 "Exception")
