Exterior access to the basement is in lieu of fire sprinklering the basement. Work is to include steel door frames, hollow metal doors with dead bolts, and a knox box all per the approved drawings and the plan review report on file. These doors are NOT egress doors. In addition, to core drill a 3" hole through the basement wall to serve an "outside air" duct that is part of the HVAC system. CJW
