Description
This project is for the second story addition in the hillside area (ESC plan approved by Steve Webb and as all work is interior Terry Record waives hillside requirements.) of 350s.f. to be used as an office/bedroom including a new code complying stair to same. The project is also to include the remodel of the basement level utility room converting it into a 2nd kitchen with new window and window well approved by planning by CAA04-00206 for a non complying Accessory Dwelling Unit by ajb. The Accessory Dwelling Unit term is to reflect the approval of a kitchen only as the CAA referenced portion of this project cannot meet minimum Building Code Requirements ( R321.1) for dwelling unit separation thus, for building code purposes cannot be used as a separate dwelling unit. There will also be 2-bathrooms remodeled in the basement area along with the main level hallway remodel adding wine cabinet and microwave cabinet leading to the updated laundry room. The 10 day appeal period for CAA04-00206 is waived to allow for the issuance of a building permit by Hal Simmons with letter from the contractor that the kitchen work will not proceed until the appeal period is passed and also agree that if the approval is overturned, the work will not be done. Separate electrical, plumbing, mechanical and ESC permits are required. This work is all to be done per the approved plans as marked, attached CAA04-00206, REScheck and plan review notes. pep
