A temporary occupancy was given with Dave Lokkers permission until the interconnect between the spraying equipment and the fan has been completed. Owner was going to mount the signs after I left. Will verify when I return.

Talked to Cindy the architect's representative. Asked for documentation from the paint booth manufacturer that would allow the exhaust duct to be transistioned from a round duct to a rectangular duct to fit through the trusses. Said she would provide.

Dave Miller approved the dry chem protection for the spray booth, in light of limited quantities in storage and use. I advised Don of Superior Fire of the decision and he will bring down an application for a permit to install the dry chem system. Also advised him of need to get a FA permit to connect the discharge alarm to the FAC panel, similar to how a cooking hood system is monitored.

Meeting  11/4/2004 DONE
Don, with Superior Fire walked in plans for a dry chem system for the spray booth at this address. After finding this TI permit, I advised him the booth will require AS protection; dry chem will not be acceptable as an alternative agent (IFC 904.2.) unless approved by FM. I also called architect, Peter Rockwell and advised him. Immediately afrterward, recieved telcon form owner, tony Ritaco. I advised him of the requirement and referred him to Dave Miller to discuss a request for alternate agent approval. He will only have < 10 galllons and wants to minimize environmental clean-up costs associated with sprinler discharge on Haz Mat's.
