HYDE PARK HISTORIC RENOVATION (SHELL ONLY) To reconstruct, renovate and remodel an exist historic building for future multi-tenant commercial and a single family residence. Work to include adding a new full basement, concrete floors, exterior walls, new windows, doors and related site improvements. The new structure will be constructed to appear from the outside, similar to the original residence. All construction per the approved plans and attached comment list. NOTE: This building is fully fire sprinklered. This is a shell building only, separate plans, permits and certificate of occupancies must be obtained to finish and occupy each tenant space in this building. (PLAN MODIFICATION 1/3/2006) To add to the basement 400 square feet of new interior floor area along with 429 square feet of covered exterior patio area. To add to the second floor 258 square feet of interior floor area and 650 square feet of exterior balcony area. MJP DRH02-00224. (PLAN MODIFICATION 1/29/08). Conference on below grade windows on southside of structure. Spoke with Mike P. and Jeff N., below grade windows would be allowed on south side provided windows are entirely below finished grade and provided with a protective screening over window well. Window well must remain entirely on property and not cross adjacent property line.Windows would not be a required means of egress. Explained these conditions to Bill S. and requested a resubmittal if windows are to be installed.
