(LEKU ONA) This building is fire sprinklered for area increase; story increase; to allow the basement to be unenclosed; to allow corridors to be nonrated; and to allow the basement, 1st story, and 2nd story to be open to each other. To convert an existing 6,027 square foot building (2 story with basement) into a restaurant / bar occupancy and to construct a 3,024 square foot addition. Work is to include 6 restrooms accessible to the disabled, an elevator, exterior masonry walls, concrete footings, concrete foundations, stairways, millwork, interior nonbearing walls, interior concrete footings, wood beams, steel beams, wood columns, steel columns, a seismic upgrade, new roof insulation and coverings, and interior finishes. The work shall comply with the approved drawings, structural engineering, and all applicable codes. The fire sprinkler system shall comply with 2002 NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department.
