Description
(BORCHERS) To convert the1,886 sq.ft. 1st floor of residence into office leaving the 1,697 sq.ft. 2nd floor as residential per approved plans and CUP04-00044. Work includes selective demolition done under permit BLD05-00585; reconstruction of intermediate landing on existing ramp and landing at rear door for accessibility compliance; to construct new stairs at rear door accessible landing, guards and handrails for code compliance; to reverse the swing of the rear door to provide an accessible entrance and required floor clearance's and approach clearances for accessibility; to construct interior non-bearing walls to create two fully accessible restrooms, waiting area and offices; and to resupport the existing floor system with new reinforced concrete pads, 4" x 6" columns and (2) - 1.75 x 9.5 MLB. To remodel the residential unit restroom to create two separate restrooms with new toilets, tub, shower, sinks and relocated laundry and associated plumbing and to repair the ceiling areas in the office removed to install new plumbing lines. Basement is for mechanical service to the building only. No other occupancy or use of basement allowed. All per approved plans. (drs)

Remove thumbturns from the front and back doors. Keyed is ok if meeting the requirements of review notes #13 and #14. Turn hardware around on basement access door. Provide two fire extinguishers. One upstairs and one on the main level. See review note #12. Provide verification of the cfm rating for the main level hvac unit.
