footing subgrade for garage area approved by the geotechnical engineer with conditions: 1) limited areas measuring 3 by 6 feet and 2 by 2 feet in the east side of the garage footing trench will require over excavation of 4 inches of loose soil prior to pouring the footings. 2) The step down to the footing at the front of the garage has areas at each end that will be hand excavated to remove the loose soil to a depth of about 14 inches. These areas that will be over-excavated to native undisturbed soil will be filled with additional concrete
