This interior remodel project is for the relocatio of the kitchen area in an existing single family dwelling. The kitchen will actually be trading places with the dining area. The project is also to include the addition of new engineered lamilated beams in the existing roof/ceiling area and the removal of ceiling joists to create a vaulted ceiling. The exiating 2X6 ceiling/roof rafters will be extended in depth to a minimum of 9" in order to allow for R-30 high density insulation that is 8" thick to have a continuous ventillation area above it. A continuous roof vent may also have to be installed. R-1C ok per cc. Separate electrical, plumbing, mechanical permits will be required.
