The following email was sent in reply to inquiry by Bill Freeman about requirements for temporary FD access roadway. "Roads, at least of an approved temporary nature must be in place prior to storage of combustibles on site or construction using combustible materials. The FD may approve temporary use of unpaved roadways which are constructed of compacted gravel which has sufficient load-bearing capability and will be usable during adverse weather conditions. Contact the Fire Marshal, Dave Hanneman for further details on such a temporary roadway."
