(LAUREN MEDISPA - US BANK - STE 601) This building is fire sprinklered because it is a high-rise. To remodel an existing 2,679 square foot tenant space for a day spa. This space is located on the 6th story of a 19 story building. The floor area of the entire 6th story is about 14,600 square feet. The "core" has a floor area of about 2,670 square feet. The two "core" restrooms were upgraded to be accessible to the disabled under permit BLD03-00539. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, suspended ceilings, a restroom accessible to the disabled, interior doors, interior windows, millwork, and finishes. The fire sprinkler system, fire alarm system, and high-rise life safety systems (and the infrastructure supporting these systems) for the 6th story are regulated under the provisions of the 2000 IBC. If not already existing, fire-safing shall be installed at the perimeter of the 6th story between the floor and the spandrel glass. The work shall comply with the approved drawings, the plan review report, and all applicable codes. The fire sprinkler system shall comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
