(ROBERTSON SUPPLY) To upgrade an existing interior concrete tilt-up wall into a 3-hour rated party wall/fire wall with no openings per approved plans and attached engineering. This work is to prepare for a future property line to create two separate buildings on two separate parcels. The building to the north of the party wall/fire wall will be 29,952 sq. ft. The building to the south of the party wall/fire wall will be 36,672 sq. ft. Work will include installing an approved 3-hour rated joint system at concrete tilt-up wall to wall joints, new noncombustible furring and providing a layer of gypsum board on one side of the concrete wall from floor to deck, adhered gypsum board on one side of the concrete wall section that extends above the roof then covered with roofing materials to match existing, verification of an existing 30" minimum solid grouted CMU parapet that was constructed without a permit, and some electrical work. Any existing holes or through penetrating items in the wall are to be removed and filled in with 3-hour rated construction materials. This is a Scope of Work Permit. A Letter of Completion is to be issued when done. When the parcel is officially split and approved into two separate parcels and two separate buildings, the tenants in each building will need to apply for building permits in order to obtain a Certificate of Occupancy for each tenant.
