FD vehicle access shall be provided to within 150' of all points of any structure. Due to the set back of this house, FD vehicle access is not acceptable from the street. Therefore, this house will require an NFPA 13D automatic fire sprinkler system. An acceptable alternative is to resubmit revised plans showing the driveway to be a paved surface capable of supporting 70,000 lbs. GVW and 24,000 lbs. per axle, a minimum of 20'-0" wide, extending 90' in length from the intersection with the street, with a 48'-0" outside turning radius and 28'-0" inside radius at the intersection with the street.
