Per approved plans, engineering and requirement list. This lot is within a hillside area and is subject to the hillside ordinances. A class "A" roof system and defensible area will be maintained. This house shall be fitted with an NFPA 13D system, modified to include a single row of dry sidewalls sprinklers along all walls common to attached garage and the living space. The system shall also be equipped with an alarm initiating device commonly referred to as a flow switch, and an outside alarm indicating device. Walk-in meeting with Doug Jayo regarding sprinkler requirement for this house. Identified the location of this house and clarified email memo from Dave Miller based on plat notes for Subdivision #4 and concluded that only the houses on Orion Court require sprinklers. This house is Orion Drive which is directly across Pleasant Hill from Orion Court so it does NOT require fire sprinklers. Advised Tony Young, Building inspector, to NOT require sprinklers.
