Megan Kushner. Public Works, reported:

The new Marriott hotel (suites) at 1455 S Capitol (location of the old Red Lobster) has built their enclosure all wrong. It is not wide enough for us to put a container inside the enclosure (front-load 6 yd) or service from the enclosure as currently constructed. The enclosure corner posts must be moved to sit at exactly the edge of the curb and the bollards out front must be cut off and not replaced to ensure that the gates (when hung) open a minimum of 120 degrees. (Double check to make sure gates swing past curbing.)

Allied Waste (Bob) talked with Zach, the onsite contractor; he seemed reluctant to make any modifications but was told exactly how to fix the situation.

Please do not issue occupancy or final occupancy until the enclosure meets PW criteria. Let me know how I can assist.
