Description	Micron Building #24C - (C8790) - Remodel Fab 4A in Building 24C to raise the clean room ceiling from ten foot height to fourteen foot height to accommodate new tool sizes. This work includes structural modifications to the interstitial floor area, additional structural roof supports for relocation of scrubber ducts and mechanical equipment, trench and install approximately 100 lineal feet of 4'-6" and 8'-0" wide by 4'-0" foot deep reinforced concrete equipment trenches at the subfab. and the demo and reconstruction of fab clean walls, hepa filter ceilng grids and interior doors. There is also significant mechanical, electrical and process piping modifications associated with this remodel project. This work is being done in Building #24C between grid lines #18&25 and #D&F at an approximate 6,675 sq. ft. area of the subfab, a 10,280 sq. ft. area of the main floor fabrication area and 10,190 sq. ft. of the interstitial space. All construction per the approved plans. JCM

1. Sheet A2.01 note 12 refers to a "future" gas cabinet. No information is provided about this cabinet or the gases. Gas cabinets shall meet all applicable requirements of IFC section 18 and other applicable code sections, including 1803.3.3.5, 2703.8.6 and 1803.13.2. A separate permit application will be required with plans showing compliance with applicable code requirements.
2. Portable Fire Extinguishers - none are shown on the Main level sheet A2.1.1. One 4-A:10-B:C extinguisher is required within 75' travel distance of all points of this floor. Locations shown on sheet A2.0.1, A2.2.1 and A2.2.2 appear to be acceptable. Final approval is subject to satisfactory field inspection.
3. Sheet PP0.1 lists chemicals in the Piping Abbreviations. No other Hazardous material information was submitted. It is understood there will be no new haz mat's to be used in the process and any increases in existing amounts will be monitored by Micron's Chemical Engineering staff to ensure maximum allowable quantities are not exceeded. Piping systems and equipment are to be in accordance with IFC 1803.2, 2703.2 and other applicable code sections.
Sprinkler and Fire Alarm plans not ready for review at this time.
