Description	(RCE-5895, US Modular Group Inc.) Intermountain Hospital (Modular Addition) - To place a thirteen unit Modular Building System of 11,136 sq. ft. for use as a medical treatment unit on the Intermountain Hospital Campus. This building will attach to the east end of existing modular system done under BLD02-00567. A two hour fire wall is required between the two modular units. The wall shall extend 18" beyond the exterior walls on the north & south and extend from concrete foundation to bottom of the roof deck per Sec. 705.6, exception #2 on existing building side and exception #4 on new building side per State of Idaho plan review correction, 3/2/06 (modified from 30" parapet above roof 8/9/06). All openings & penetrations in the wall shall be protected. This permit scope includes installation of the foundation, piers, tie downs, landings, ramps, skirting, concrete sidewalks, electrical, plumbing & mechanical utility connections for the facility. All per approved plans. The premanufactured, 13 modular building units, to be assembled on this foundation, were reviewed and approved by the State of Idaho Division of Building Safety Building Bureau as a medical facility under Tag # 10057FB and Plan Approval # PA13398FB. Recieved call from Kay Howard. The requirements for the 2-hour fire wall to extend 30" above the roof per original State of Idaho had been modified on 8-1/2" x 11" sheets as part of review documents. The 2-hour wall was modified to extend to the bottom of the roof deck per 2003 IBC Sec. 705.6, Exception #2 on existing building side and exception #4 on the new building side. Content of permit modified to reflect these changes.

State will also be inspecting 1hr corridors. Modular units are already assembeled when on site. noted to contractor that copies of inspections and tags will be required at bldg. final. Did note that 2hr wall is not yet extended the min 18" horizintally or the 30" inches vertically as noted on permit and approved plans. Could not verify if 2hr. wall extetnds to footing.
