(RCT-8417 MARK H. BOWEN) (ESTHER SIMPLOT PERFORMING ARTS ACADEMY - BUILDING REMODEL) This building is NOT fire sprinklered. To remodel an existing one story with mezzanine building (3,673 square foot 1st story and 883 square foot 1st story mezzanine). A seismic upgrade will be done as a part of this project. Work is to include 4 restrooms accessible to the disabled, interior nonbearing walls, concrete footings, concrete walls and pier, concrete slabs, concrete stairs, steel column, wood joists, wood beams, wood parapets, parapet braces, masonry repointing, roof ties, steel headers and trimmers at new openings in masonry walls, suspended ceilings, and finishes. Work also includes demolishing a 700 square foot upper level. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes.
