(P.O.D.S. - ASSOCIATED FOODS WAREHOUSE - NE CORNER TENANT SPACE 102) To create a 35,159 sq.ft. secure tenant space within an existing 250,000 sq ft building for storage of high pile steel storage containers of assorted household goods per approved plans. Work to include, erection of 18 ft high metal stud and gypboard partitions, construction of a new restroom, installation of new exterior 18' overhead door & two 3' x 6' 8" man doors to be installed on the east side of the building, relocate an existing interior modular office space too within this space, This building is fully fire sprinkled any alterations or modifications to the sprinkler system shall be per NFPA #13 as regulated by the fire department. Solid partitions are constructed to separate storage areas to less than 50,000 sq ft so heat & smoke vents are NOT Required. RMH **(PLAN MODIFICATION 1)**(3/8/07)** Plan modification to add a ramp and sand oil interceptor at new overhead door opening per approved plans and engineering.**(2ND PLAN MODIFICATION)**(4/13/07)** To expand an existing fire sprinkler pump room on the north side of building to install larger fire pump per approved plans and attached engineering. Work to include, construction of new CMU walls, concrete slab, and noncombustible roof deck. **(3RD PLAN MODIFICATION)** TO CONSTRUCT A 24' WIDE BY 810 FT LONG ACCESS ROAD TO THE EXISTING WAREHOUSE. ***(FOURTH PLAN MODIFICATION 3-14-07)*** TO CONSTRUCT NEW 134' X 20' ASPHALT FIRE ACCESS ROAD ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE EXISTING WAREHOUSE TO PROVIDE ACCESS BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT TO THE NEW PUMP ROOM. telcon from Erin at CM Co. regarding potential inspection items mentioned by fire inspector, F.France to sprinkler Contracotr, Dave Gates. I called Forrest. The main issue was FD access to the fire pump room and the new FDC at the pump room, which is approx 250' from the closest FD vehicle access point. Plans for the pump room were submitted as a second plan mod under this TI permit. The pump room was enlarged in area and height to accomdate the new pump required for a building sprinkler system upgrade. These plans were not shown as or treated as an addition and therefore were not routed to Fire for a fire code compliance review. I agreed to take take the situation to the Fire Marshall to determine if any exceptions to the code will be allowed and advise Erin of the decision.

Inspection was for a temporary for the placement of the POD's within the building. Inspection was done per the meeting minutes. Items that still need correcting are fire extinguishers need to be placed in all spaces, the items stored in the left hand of the "Y" intersection at the west end of the building need remove for fire dept. access, remove the concrete parking curbs from the access way to the east overhead door and remove the POD's that have already been stored in the building until all items have been satified.
