Revised drawings were submitted on February 2, 2007. The area in the vicinity of the North restrooms was changed. The existing restroom, although not totaly compliant with current accessibility standards, was allowed to remain without alteration because the obligation to upgrade under the "20% rule" was satisfied by creating 3 new accessible toilet rooms and by creating accessible entry doors. Narrow doors were allowed to serve the mechanical rooms and janitor's closets because these are equipment spaces and are not available to the public or used by the public. Mop or service sinks are NOT required to be accessible to the disabled. CJW
