(BLOCKBUSTER VIDEO - HILLCREST SHOPPING CENTER) A NEW CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY IS REQUIRED FOR BLOCKBUSTER'S ALTERED TENANT SPACE. To reduce the current video store tenant space from 6,430 sq.ft. to establish a 4,249 sq.ft. reduced tenant space by constructing a new tenant noncombustible demising wall creating two areas. Remaining area of 2,181 sq.ft. will become a "VACANT" future tenant space under separate permit BLD06-03411, with NO ALLOWED OCCUPANCY OR USE and will not have any restrooms. Work includes selective demolition of interior finishes, disconnecting and modifying existing electrical & mechanical ductwork and controls to create two separate systems for each space; to remove service and display counter and relocate for use in reduced store area; relocate display fixtures and maintain egress path through all display areas to existing exit doors; to relocate existing electrical fixture's and HVAC diffusers; to remove covering of existing columns along line of new tenant dividing wall and construct metal stud wall with sheetrock covering & new finishes from east perimeter wall to west perimeter wall at the first existing column line going north from south building wall; and install new accoustical ceiling tile in existing grid above removed soffits. drs
