The grading and drainage has been completed at the above mentioned address. However, the approved grading plan was deviated from and two retaining walls were built that will require a variance. If the variance is not approved the walls will have to be rebuilt as originally approved. For this the engineer has recommended a bond of $7,000.00. The bond has been submitted and the grading and drainage is conditionally approved.

I met with a Mike Flanagan the owner of this project. He was very upset about the time frame given to his contractor and wanted to speak with Jennifer Gillian. Jennifer was not available at the time (Meeting) and I requested that he call back and set up a meeting with her. I printed a time activity sheet for him to show him how his project is routing through the system. I also let him know the city is in the process of obtaining another residential Plan reviewer. (SRZ)

A modified 13D fire sprinkler system is required for this house. In addition to the requirements of 13D, all closets, small bathrooms and home foyers are to be protected, and in addition, a single row of dry sidewall sprinklers shall be installed in all attached garages along the walls common to the garage and the living space, with sprinklers spaced sideways according to their listing requirements.
