(EYES OF THE WORLD) Remodel changing occupancy from a former assembly bar/dance hall to a new 3,879 sq. ft. retail use tenant with some office and storage within an existing 4,950 sq. ft. building per approved plans and CZC07-00140. Work includes construction of a new 305 sq. ft. office mezzanine level, some roof repairs where a fire occurred, new seismic ties around the perimeter of the roof structure attached to the exterior walls, a small juice bar kitchen area, dressing rooms, new interior walls and doors, some new windows, new interior stairway with handrails, interior finish work, ceiling work, restroom changes, insulating the roof, reroofing portions of the roof, mechanical work including new HVAC rooftop units, plumbing work, and electrical work. Nonseparated Uses per IBC Section 302.3.1. Two exits required from the tenant space. Special Inspection required for epoxy/adhesive anchor installations at interior CMU wall infill and at the seismic ties perimeter roof connection to the CMU exterior walls. A Certificate of Occupancy is to be issued when completed and approved. NOTE: This building is not fire sprinklered. JCB
