Need building shell permit finals for BLD07-00349 and related fire sprinkler permit FIR07-00619(OH)/FIR07-00316(UG), door hardware at the second exit is not approved, tenant project related fire alarm permit FIR07-00673 and fire sprinkler permit FIR07-00718 need to be finaled prior to occupancy approval. NOTE: Tenant is in violation of IFC 2003 105.3.3. The permit area shall not be occupied prior to the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy. Tenant needs to obtain a CO or TCO for legal occupancy of the building. Notified the general contractor and tenant representative of the situation. Correction notice left on site.

Telcon from Forrest advising of continued fire life safety issues (2nd exit loced by card reader mag lock, lack of one PFE and continued lack of spk final of shell spk system) and that tenant has moved in without CO despite previous warnings to not do so. He advised tenant of illegal status of occupancy and noted it on his correction notice. I emailed J. Gilliland and D. Hanneman advising of situation.

telcon from Carl Harrison with Applied Materials (###-####). He said he was told by GC Bob Smith that it is okay to move in on Monday (they have already moved in all their office furniture based on Bob's okay) but he's wondering why no CO card has been issued if it is okay to move in. Bob told him that he "had it covered."
I explained they do not have temporary occupancy approval and it can't be done by Monday because the sprinkler modifications which they installed without plans and hydraulic calculations have not been submitted and will require review and approval before we can approve the installation. I also reviewed status of FA and Bldg shell permits with him, which are also not ready to be finaled. Advised him that they do not have approval to occupy and it would be illegal if they moved in on Monday. Advised Bruce Chatterton of the situation, in Jenifer's absence.
