Call from John Ferrrin, electrical engineer concerning the use of exception # 3, 2006 IECC to eliminate need for auto shutoff. I told him it would have to be an alternate request through the building official, George slane, asking to use the exception and a statement as to why exception is applicable. Other options are the fire wall to create separate building or install auto shutoff. He will call Stan cole to determine which process they want to persue.
