East Junior High - To construct a new 120,805 square foot, two story, masonry and steel framed junior high school and related site improvements. This building is separated by two hour fire walls into three separate buildings. Section One is Type II One-hour construction and contains the gymnasiums, locker rooms, kitchen and cafeteria and administrative offices on the first floor and library and computer/technology areas on the second floor. The first floor is 50,415 sq. ft. and the second floor is 10,150 sq. ft.. Section Two is Type II nonrated construction and contains classrooms on the first and second floors. First floor 15,275 sq. ft. and second floor 14,450 square feet. Section Three is Type II nonrated construction and contains classrooms on the first and second floors. First floor 15,145 sq. ft. and second floor 15,370 square feet. This building is fully fire sprinkled. The sprinklers are used for area increase.
