(ANTHROPOLOGIE - BLOCK 44 - 1ST STORY & BASEMENT) This building is required to be fire sprinklered for story increase, area increase, and fire area. To construct tenant improvements within an existing 10,163 square foot space (8,326 square foot 1st story and 1,837 square foot basement) for a new retail sales tenant. Work is to include 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, interior nonbearing walls, suspended gypsum board ceilings, 2 new rigid awnings, new store front windows and doors, 2 skylights, EIFS, an interior tube steel fixture, rolling 8 foot tall storage shelves, and finishes. An existing wall was upgraded to be a 3-hr fire wall under permit BLD07-01315. Major structural changes to the building, a basement stairway, basement area reduction, and other changes to the building shell were done under permit BLD07-01386. The building was fire sprinklered in conjunction with that permit. Interior nonstructural demolition was done under permit BLD07-02453. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. A copy of the valid license agreement with ACHD that allows the fixed awnings to be located over the public sidewalk must be submitted to the Plan Review Division of the PDS Department before this tenant occupies this space.
