This permit is for an addition project that was started with out proper approvals and permits with the city of Boise. A stop work order was placed on the project on March 4, 2008. The permit was applied for on February 6, 2008 and was not approved as there is to be foundation engineering for the hillside area and an erosion and sediment control plan is required. A copy of the requirement list given to the applicalnt is on file. As the concrete was poured without soils inspection and approval of a geotechnical engineer submitted to the public works department a Sealed letter from a geotechnical engineer and a structural engineer licensed in the state of Idaho must be submitted to the structural division and Terry Records with public works prior to getting a final inspection on this project. The engineer of record on this project will also sign the inspection request card prior to the request for a final inspection by the structural division and letter of compliance is issued. Electrical, plumbing and mechanical permit fees are required. Per IRC R114.1 and the Stop Work Notice fees X 2 will be assessed for all required permits for this project. This project includes the construction of an addition of 318s.f. to an eixsting single family dwelling. There is to be 168s.f. of office space of of the garage level and 150s.f. added to the basement level that is to be a new bathroom and closet area. R-1B setbacks are approved by Lucinda Grames. There is to be a property line confirmation by the structural inspector using the property pins as mentioned by the applicant. ESC plan is approved by Steve Webb.
