To remodel the common areas within an existing 78,100 square foot multi-tenant building. Work is to include new interior windows, new interior doors, 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, new guards, new handrails, a new interior stairway, a new exterior ramp, and new finishes. Instead of an existing interior wheelchair lift that will be removed, a new exterior ramp will provide an accessible route from the public sidewalk to the 1st story. Smoke control for the atrium will be covered under a future phase permit. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. Plan Modification excepted for BLD08-00378 for the need to install the mechanical plenum at this time in lieu of the temporary roof at the specified skylight opening. The additionaldemolition of a second skylight to accommodate the mechanical plenum. The existing structure that the new curb must sit on is very close to the next northern skylignt.To alleviate any future maintenance problems and ensure the plenum sits squarely on the existing structure we are proposing the removal of the adjacent skylight as noted on the submitted drawings. Note: In case there are problems with the fabrication of the plenum I decided to leave detail 19/a5.11 as it was approved by Keith Jones. Therefore if there are anyissues we have the nessary information already approved and specified. This detail already called out the location for the future plenum. For the plenum I have provided a new detail that is accompained by the calculations 20/a5.11. Unless instructed otherwise, after your approval I will issue this sheet as ASI # 15 to the contractor, witch is noted in the revisions aection of the title block. Plans routed to Carl W.

Therefore, we mush provide a switch back ramp the depth/width of the ramp changed from 5' to the minimum allowed. The length will not exceed 30' without a landing. The length will run the original length, provide a landing, and then switch back until the appropriate slope is achieved. A 5' clear area will be provided at the end of the ramp.
