Met with structural inspector Jim Sly to review use of a proposed use of a fire rated cover to be installed over can lights in 1-hour ceiling at this job site. Porduct is made by TENMAT INC. and is tested and listed for use provide Luminaires and Luminaire Assemblies classified for fire resistance. UL CDHW.R25010, Type FF109, TENMAT Inc. Also tested for upto 1-hour by Omega Point Lab, Design Number LC 101, Luminary Covers. I stamped, signed and dated U.L. & Omega Point LC 101 & manufactures installation instruction as approved for use with this project. One copy to job site with Jim Sly and I attached one copy to approved office copy of plans.
