*6/3/08* - Meeting held with the Fire Marshal, Dave Hanneman, and Assistant Fire Marshal, Mark Senteno, regarding the fire department vehicle access and fire hydrant locations at Bishop Kelly high school. The Fire Marshal has determined FD vehicle access is adequate utilizing the existing running track to gain access to the new grandstand/press box (BL08-00892) and maintenance shed (BLD05-02633). However, it shall be noted that the Boise City Fire department will not be responsible for any damage that should occur to the running track during emergency operations protecting said structures.
Regarding locations of available fire hydrants; the Fire Marshal will require an additional fire hydrant to be installed along the fire department vehicle access roadway serving the Southwest area of the existing school building. Specifically, at the location where an existing curb cut exists along the FD roadway which appears to be used for maintenance vehicles accessing the track/football field and associated structures. The building and/or structure shall not be occupied prior to the fire code official issuing a permit that indicates that applicable provisions of this agreement have been met.

Met with the assitant fire marshal, Mark Senteno, to discuss the fire department vehicle access and fire hydrant locations relative to the proposed structure. Further analysis will be conducted by the fire department to determine if upgrades to FD vehicle access and/or any new fire hydrant locations will be required to serve new structures located at the Southern portion of the existing high school parcel.
