This project is for the conversion of 576s.f of an existing 1392s.f. pole type structure with approval to erect a new 720 in 1981 as a storage unit. As the Accessory Dwelling Unit cannot be larger than 600s.f. a separation is required to meet 2006 IRC R309.2 between the dwelling unit and rest of the structure. This Accessory Dwelling Unit has been approved through CAA08-00067 by approval of the Boise City Planning and Zoning Commission after an appeal to the denial of this conversion. The approval requires; "sewer connection;an additional window adjacent to the front door; provide shutters for all windows to match the primary dwelling, painted a complimentary color; the area under the entry canopy be pavers or concrete" The final approvals of this conversion are subject to the approvals of the Boise City Planning and Developnent Services inspection divisions including the electrical, plumbing, and mechanical divisions. The project is to meet proper drainage and life safety issues as necessary. Separate electrical, plumbing, mechanical permits are required.
