The building is not complete and does not match the approved plans. The building is painted the incorrect color, does not have soffits or a roof, has unfinished vents on the exterior of the building, has added light fixtures, has a damaged trash enclosure, does not contain the upper horizontal band on the building, is not landscaped, has loose debris in the drive aisle, and the loading zone for the accessible space has not been striped. The applicant will be required to post a bond in the amount that it would cost to modify the site and the building to match the approved plans or obtain a DR modification to allow the building to remain as constructed. Met with Kelly Miller, Crown Const. to review plan review and data prepared by Mr. Mike Fairchild and Merlin Phillips. Reviewed question on truss design / fabrication. Kelly will have truss engineer indicate full and partial truss. New structural engineer to review existing roof capability for overbuild and snow drifting at new raised wall sections and also provide engineering design criteria as part of plan cover sheet or separate structural plan sheet. Kelly will have his electrician contact Jim Schmer to discuss lighting fixtures for this occupancy use. Original exhaust ducting is still in place. Will have design professional review capability of existing to meet current mechanical & electrical code exhaust requirements. Kelly to review occupancy use with Mike Fairchild. Occupancy use (H or S1 not an F1) with accessory 'B' waiting room. The south side stairway is having the wall enclosure constructed as part of the sign shop permit removed and there will be no enclosed storage space under this stair. All storage tanks in this area will be in full view of all in basement and does not require protection as long as storage is not enclosed. The north side stair is enclosed within a concrete wall, part of original plans, and does not have access beneath for storage. Number of tanks, capacity of each (including existing larger tank), classification of combustible/flammable liguids (i.e. C-IIIB) allowed quantitity per Tble 307 IBC vs. actual quantity determines if "H" or "S1" occupancy.
