(BALIHOO - 3RD STORY) The fire sprinkler system substitutes for the 1-hr fire-resistance-rated construction of the building. To create a 9,345 square foot tenant space on the 3rd story of an existing building by combining smaller tenant spaces. Work it to include interior nonbearing walls, a 1-hr fire barrier/smoke barrier wall and a 45 minute smoke and draft control door at the atrium enclosure, interior doors, millwork, and finishes. Under permit BLD08-00378, the new restrooms on the upper level 3rd story were constructed, the existing restrooms on the lower level 3rd story restrooms were refinished but were NOT upgraded to be accessible to the disabled, and Phase I of the atrium smoke control system was completed. Phase II of the atrium smoke control system will be done under permit BLD08-01293 with Phase III to follow. The atrium enclosure work done under this permit shall be compatible with the phased project to upgrade the atrium smoke control system. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
