This permit is for the remodel of and addition to an existing single family dwelling. The existing basement will be remodeled to include one bedrooms and one bathroom. The main story will be remodeled to create one bedroom and two bathrooms. There will be an addition on the East side of the building on the main level that will create a mud room, laundry room and a pantry. There will also be an addition on the West side of the building that will create a living room and one of the bathrooms on the main level. The addition also includes the second story which is all new construction. The second story has a total of two bedrooms and one bathroom. The roof will be built as a hand stack with 2 x 12 rafters. The South end of the house has eaves that will project to within five feet of the property line and these eaves will be protected to one hour per the detail on the approved plans.
