Tammie McCarter with central district health called about the lighting not being sufficient in the food prep area. I indicated that my only requirement was that the energy efficiency requirements in the IECC were met. I pulled the plans and looked at the compliance check and which indicated that they were well below the allowable wattage of 1.5 watts per square foot in the IECC and that .5 watts per square foot was still avaailable for additional lighting. 3-24-09 CDM
