(SUNDANCE INVESTMENTS, LMT/COLLEGE OF WESTERN IDAHO) No new construction under this permit. Scope of work includes interior demolition within the existing 52, 295 sq. ft. commercial building, of non-bearing walls, finishes, ceilings, applicable electrical, plumbing and mechanical in preparation for future tenant improvement. Owner & proposed tenant are proceeding at their own risk with no guarantee that a building permit for the project will be issued. See letter provided by owner/tenant. Contractor is responsible for compliance with Chapter 14, 2006 IFC, Fire Safety During Construction and Demolition and Chapter 33 of the 2006 IBC, Safeguards During construction. Copies of code sections can be reviewed at PDS Department, 2nd floor, Boise City Hall, 150 N. Capitol Blvd. Sprinkler and alarm systems to be maintained operational per NFPA 13 at all times during the demolition, having a certified fire suppression system contractor, contracted by demolition contractor, available on job site to work in conjunction with demolition work to maintain the existing fire & life-safety requirements. All proposed exceptions to this fire-life safety requirement shall be approved in writing from the fire department before demolition work can proceed. Access & use of required existing exits & door hardware shall be maintained for use of contractors at all times. drs

Angie will provide hold harmless agreement for tenant / building owner to sign with understanding that issuing an interior demolition permit and reviewing the plans before Planning DRH is approved does not guarantee that a permit will be issued for the project. Tenant & building owner proceed at their own risk. Plans and certificate of value for interior demolition permit to be submitted by 3/18/09 if proposed schedule is to be maintained. Plan Intake to see if plans can be received into plan routing for review process tentatively set for 4/1/09. Tentative permit date of 4/17/09 and occupancy on 7/1/09.
