Spoke with Don Hutchinson regarding fire code plan review resubmittal item. Explained to Don that the fire code requires the furthest exterior portion of a new building or structure to be within 150 feet of an approved fire department access roadway. Submitted plans do not meet this requirement. Alternate access is available from 29th street, however the width of this access road is less than the minimum required 20 feet. Referred Don to the fire marshal, Mark Senteno, for consideration of this alternate FD access roadway.
