The existing building issue is resolved but the driveway is in the wrong location. The proposed driveway does not connect the garage door to the street. I called and left message that I could redlined the proposed driveway off the site plan and drawn a new driveway on the site plan that connects the garage door to street but they need to call and let me know if that is OK.

questions on the requirements for the existing detached structue on this property. The structure was reduced in size in 2004 or 5 and the kitchen was supposed to be removed at that time. As long as the structure does not meet the requirements of an Accessory Dwelling Unit I told her that a floor plan to scale of the structure is required showing the proposed electrical plan is requiredand that separate permits are required to remodel this structure or to connect same to the new single family dwelling as the plans submitted at this time do not reflect same. 8-7-2009 pep

Talked with the applicant and they need ADU or Duplex approval in order to have two dwelling units in the house. Permit is failed until they get planning approval. 7/31/09 - The applicant stated that the existing building will not contain a kitchen or full bathroom. However, PDS still need a new floor plan which shows the proposed house and existing building and the existing building floor plan should contain no kitchen or full bathroom. The applicant will get new floor plan to PDS next week. 8/5/09 - The applicant faxed over reduced floor plans of the existing building. The floor plan appears to show one room with a restroom ( no full bathroom). However, the floor plans are hard to read and they do not match the site plan. Talked with Perry Paine about the project and the building department will need to to see more information. Called applicant on 8/6/09 and said that the city needs more information and that we should setup a meeting to dicuss the project. 8/12/09 - The existing building planning issues are resolved and they submitted a floor plan but the proposed driveway does not connect the garage door to the street. I called and left a message about redlining the site plan to fix this problem. 8-13-09 - talked with applicant about the changes needed. The garage is side loaded and the applicant needs to provide new site plans, bldg elevations and other plans, since the submitted plans and elevations show a front loaded garage.
