I have reviewed your alternate submittal for the Chemstop. This product will not be allowed. Most importantly this method of removal is not recognized by ICC for removal of contaminates from space. Please comply with my previous corrections.

Rout to Mech. when finished with plumbing review. TLW water to the chairs must be protected by hot and cold r.p.s installed over a drain. two pumps will be installed on the north wall piped to the clothes washer waste line.
Routing - MECHANICAL  12/24/2009 FAIL
1. Provide Mechanical design by Mechanical Engineer for exhaust system to manicure stations.
2. The exhaust system for the manicure stations shall be ducted to each table to capture and remove contaminates and odors at the source per IMC Table 403.3. The 2003 IMC states that recirculation of air from such space is prohibited. The 2006 IMC states that contaminates and odors shall be captured and removed at its source with 50 cfm intermitnent and 20 cfm continuos per station. The 2009 IMC states the exhaust system shall be designed to remove 50 cfm minimum per station continuously while business is open. The system shall be designed to capture and remove contaminates at the source. This design may require more cfm required by code by designed professional to capture and remove contaminates.
3. The exhaust system shall be interlocked with the lighting system to insure exhaust system will be in operation during business hours. Please note this on plans.
4. Show on plans the required outdoor air for Nail Salons per IMC Table 403.3.
5. The Plans show a dryer. Show design for dryer on plans.
6. Show on plans existing and new diffuser placement. The plans show new break room space.
