(Riverstone International School Pre-School Occupancy Approval Review) Application for inspection to determine requirements for issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for change of use of a 1,826 sq. ft. portion for use as a Pre-School, of the 24,300 sq. ft. Riverstone Lower School constructed under BLD08-02600. There will be two child care rooms. Room #201 is 918 sq. ft. with an occupant load of 26 and Room #206, 810 sq. ft. with an occupant load of 23, a total occupant load of 49. There are two existing fully accessible restrooms, one his & one hers; an 118 sq. storage room and 60 sq. ft. connecting hall that are shared by each room. As a Pre-School, two exits are required from each room with exit signage at both doors of both rooms and emergency lighting for each room. Doors, hardware, clear floor space for accessibility on both sides of doors and accessible counter/sink with a bubbler drinking fountain are required, and indicated as existing on plans for school. Building is fully sprinklered with an alarm system. See attached checklist of items to be verified by fire and building inspectors in order to establish the certificate of occupancy for use of these two rooms as a childcare preschool.
