Per FIR05-00223 the building is equiped throughout with quick response sprinkler heads. This building is fully sprinklered for area increase: any alterations to the existing sprinkler system will require a separate permit and shall comply with NFPA13 as regulated by the City of Boise Fire Department. I found that the existing fire alarm system had devices that had been removed by ADT for construction. No plans had been approved/issued for this work. I spoke to the general contractor and let him know that approved plans are required and that there would be no sign offs for final or for any phasing of the project until plans had been submitted, issued and the work completed.
