Meeting with Jeff Boutte. He stated the Building inspector will not sign his occupancy card and final his permit. The field inspector requested him to speak with plan review about the exhaust opening in the West wall and the Panic hardware on the exit door. He also stated that the Fire inspector passed his life safety inspection. I requested Mr. Boutte to provide a copy of the adjacent properties legal description showing the access drive is included in the legal description and will not be built on. I also requested more information on the panic door hardware.

Received an Ada County deed for parcel 'B' wich is located directly behind and to the West of subject property. The portion of this parcel to the West is described on said deed as such: The West 10 feet of the North 150 feet of said lot 4 is to be used as a driveway as recited in deed recorded in book 323 of deeds at page 62, records of Ada County, State of Idaho. This information grants approval for the unprotected exterior wall opening (Exhaust Fan). The maximum area of (unprotected) exterior wall opeings is 10% per Table 704.8 of the 2006 IBC. Applicant stated the panic hardware was installed in 1995. As described by the applicant the panic hardware in question complies with the 1994 UBC. Verified compliance with Fire Inspection and previous permit approvals. Currently no correction request has been provided to plan review. SRZ

Previous permits include BLD95-00253 and MIS03-00204. The 1995 permit was Voided by PRP and no resolution was achieved. MIS03-00204 was passed by building inspector 408 but failed by Fire inspector 403. Partial Final granted but permti expired on 5/06/04 by inspector 408. This permit was for a Certificate of Occupancy for an existing building with no new work authorized. Inspector 301 has identified Building issues possibly requiring a T.I. permit for new correction work. SRZ
