I received a floor plan resubmittal of the small one bedroom units bathrooms showing the original locations of the water heater, vanity, water closet, and shower locations. All fixtures will remain in their original locations therefore existing conditions will be maintained to their current level of compliance. Type B dwelling or sleeping units are not required to be provided in existing buildings and facilities. Repairs, as defined per the Existing Building Code, includes replacement of fixtures for the purpose of maintaining such components in good or sound condition with respect to performance requirements. This project is a repair permit and as long as the existing fixture locations are maintained and do not compromise the minimum standars for fire prevention and life safety, they shall remain in their original locations.

tom returned my call - said that it was his understanding that they would be coming in to pick up this permit sometime this week - i told him to follow it online and if it has not been issued by the 10th that he might want to request and extension so that the permit does not expire - he said he would . adminastrative actions.
