Work is to include a restroom accessible to the disabled, a new concrete exterior ramp accessible to the disabled, an interior nonbearing wall, new exterior windows, a new exterior door, new exterior handrails, and interior finishes. The North and South exterior walls will be upgraded to 1-hr fire-resistance-rated construction with fire exposure expected only on the interior side of the walls. Interior bearing walls and beams will be upgraded to 1-hr fire-resistance-rated construction with fire exposure expected on both sides of walls and on both sides and the bottom of beams.
