Called Nick Rico, Lochsa Engineers concerning the required engineering analysis and design for new hoods supported by existing trusses and where the process for submittals was going. Nick said the analysis indicated the trusses would be overstressed by more than 5% and some support modifications will be required. He needs to talk with Pat McKeegan on how to proceed. I told him I had expected to receive submittals last week after our discussion of 11/30/10 and that I was going to be gone for the next three plus weeks and would like to issue the permit if possible before I leave. he said he would call Pat today.
