Description	(THE OLD STATESMAN BUILDING - PHASE I - STRUCTURAL ALTERATIONS) Fire sprinklers used for story and area increases. To alter the gravity load path within the old Statesman building. The alterations are located in the North central portion of the building. Work is to include concrete footings, new columns, new beams, and custom made steel beam saddles. In addition, to install steel lintels and steel jambs at new openings in existing masonry walls. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, with the structural design, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. CJW
